General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
As per your description you are probably having a condition called nasal polyp(protrusion of nasal mucosa)
I have seen many such cases in my clinic and during my training period, and I can assure you that it is not a dangerous thing, complete cure is possible.
I suggest you to consult an ENT specialist for best treatment. He might do an anterior rhinoscopy (visual examination of nose),CT scan of para nasal sinuses(Air filled cavities in your face from which these polyps arise) to locate the site of the lesion.
For complete cure the surgeon will excise the polypoidal growth, this procedure is known as polypectomy.FESS(Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery) is the most advanced and widely used technique to remove the polyp and most ENT surgeon prefer this. This is simple endoscopic procedure and nothing worry in it.
As of now you can use nasal decongestants and steam inhalation for symptomatic relief.
Hope this information helps.

Wishing you good health.
Regards.
