HELLO SIR, ONE OF MY RELATIVE IS SUFFERING FROM ADULT POLYCYSTIC KIDNEY DISEASE WITH CREATININE LEVELS HOVERING AROUND 5-5.2. OUR NEPHROLOGIST ADVICED CUDO FORTE TABLETS.CAN YOU SUGGEST WHEATHER TO CONTINUE WITH SAME TABLETS OR CHANGE TO SOME OTHER BRAND WITH SIMILAR COMPOSITION
Definitive treatment of polycystic kidney disease would be surgical removal of either cyst or kidney transplant depending upon the level of damage happened to the kidney. Till that kidney function can be managed by law salt consumption. Medication helpful for it are enalapril, captopril. In your case as creatinine level is high you should consult nephrologist. He/she will decide whether haemodialysis is required or medicine will bring down creatinine to normal level. Cudo Forte I think is probiotic and not much important in your case.
