Hi, thanks for posting the concern in HCM. My understanding is esophagitis may produce similar symptoms. However, other causes should be excluded too. I need to know whether the diagnosis provided by your doctor was only provisional, i. e based on history and clinical examination only or you had specific tests done to confirm the same. If you have not done any test, other causes should be ruled by relevant investigations, e. g. Complete blood count, urea, creatinine, LFT, amylase, lipase USG whole abdomen Stool for routine examination Upper GI endoscopy Till the completion of the tests, you can continue with Rabeprazole-levosulpiride combination e.g. Tab Rabifast XL one tab once daily before breakfast.
