How Can Periods Be Preponed?

I am newly married and I have no future baby plan for 2 years.Now I want to prepond my periods because of some urgent reason.My mensuration cycle is 30 days.I have my next period on 7th Oct and want to pre pond it to end oct.I want to take tablets and also want to know is taking tablets will have harmfull effecton me in future?

You should not try to change your period if it is not incredibly important, because this can affect the regularity of your period. And no medicine is completely free from side effects. So think before taking any medicine for this purpose.
You can postpone your period by taking medroxyprogesterone 5 mg twice daily. You should start 5 days before your expected date of bleeding and continue it for 10 days or until desired. Bleeding will not occur until you stop medroxyprogesterone. When you will stop it, bleeding will start within one week of stoppage
