General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Sorry to say that once period has been started then it can not be postponed by the medicine.
Basically, primlout n (5 mg twice daily) should be taken 4-5 days before the expected period date for successful postponement of the period under the advise of the gynecologist.
Once bleeding has been started, it can not be stopped by the primolut N now.
Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
