How Can Painful Bartholin S Cysts Be Treated?

I think I have two mirror image Bartholin cysts. Very painful especially because they touch each other. What is my best course of action? I really don t want to go to the doctor due to the expenses and need for time off from work. Can I take care of these on my own?

Hello dear
I understand your concern
For diagnosis consultation of the gynecologist is must or you can use premium service of HCG in which facility of uplod of image is there.
If is greater than 1 cm on the lower part of the vaginal opening then it is most likely due to bartholin's cyst.
Cyst less than 1 cm could be due to Lipoma, epidermoid cysts, hair follicle infection.
So better to consult the gynecologist for the better exmination.
Following advises will help you
Apply mupirocin ointment
Tablet ibuprufen
Warm pad application and warm water sitz bath
Take frequent hot bath.
If problem persits then,
Bartholin cyst and gland should be treated permanently by surgical process.
Hope this may help you
