I have had shingles for about five weeks. Have gone to t he dr. The first two weeks she had me on Predasone, Valtrex tyree times a day for the first two week and then cut it to one a day. Just ran out of it. Also thking Gabapentin three times a day and Im still on that. Plus I have been and continue to be taking Norco every six hours. My back has healed up still some of the rash is there. It wraps fron the back to the front under my left breast. I am needing something that I can put on to cut the pain. I have been using BioFreeze but it does not last long befo re the pain is back. Can you recommend something that I might put on it to releive the pain. One of my friends said to try Windex. I am willing to try anything to try to get some relief. I couldnt see where Windex did anything for me! I feel like screaming most of the time. The dr said it was one of the worse cases she had ever seen. I had the shingles shot three years ago. I am 68 years old and a female. Thanks
