Good Morning!
Here are some other pain relieving suggestions for your foot to discuss with your doctor. First, physical therapy can work with your feet to improve circulation and range of motion. Second, there are creams that are very effective at relieving pain both nerve and arthritic. One cream has capsaicin in it (peppers) and goes by various names. The other cream has an anti-inflammatory medication in it diclofenac sodium. The next treatment is to soak your feet in hot Epsom salt baths to relieve muscle cramping.

There are also oral medication to relieve neuropathic pain if none of the above work. Medications such as gabapentin can be used. Other people have had luck with the supplement chrondroitin.

I hope these tips give you some ideas to discuss with your physician.
