How Can Nausea And Joint Ache Be Treated?

I m 57 years old, type 2 diabetes, obese. Been having frequent nausea (every day, multiple times a day, lasts 2 - 10 minutes, but intense). Just had CBC, lipids and TSH done. All within range. Also have achy joints and general soreness all the time. Any chance I could have been infected with West Nile some time ago?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thank you for your query at Healthcare Magic.

I understand your concern..
It may be related to your history of infected to West Nile Virus, but since your laboratory is in normal range and there is no other symptoms and other laboratory result, it can also related to Diabetes or maybe gastritis.

Avoid salty, spicy and fries food, also make sure you are control your blood sugar wisely (combination of drugs and lifestyle modification).

You can consume antiemetic that you can buy in OTC, or go consult to your local doctor.

Thank you,
dr. Nurul
