Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

I suggest that you be started on Oral antibiotics for a week. Oral antibiotics would help resolve it faster.
My choice of oral antibiotics would be either flucloxacillin or cephalexin for a week.
I suggest you to talk to your doctor for the needful.
Topically you may use an OTC topical antibacterial e.g 2%mupirocin ointment, twice daily.
An OTC painkiller e.g ibuprofen would help deal with pain and swelling.
I suggest you not to pop it or try squeezing it because it might push it deeper and yes since it is located in the danger zone area, therefore, it would be better to help it resolve with oral antibiotics as soon as possible.

Regards
