How Can My Son Be Seizure Episodes Free?

my son is epileptic from the age of 13 yrs . he is now 21. his seizure control is not good. right now he is on Levetiracetam 1g twice daily. inspite of which he is still having episodes. do U suggest we change him to any other drug !!! A Worried mother

hello anna, welcome to healthcaremagic, you have mentioned that he is on levitricetam but you have not given his weight and you have not mentioned if he is on the same medicine from beginning.If he is on the same medicine then we should adjust it according to his bodyweight and go up to maximum dose and with that also he not controlled then it is better to change the medicine.
