How Can Memory Loss In The Brain Be Treated?

Dear sir, My grand mother (75) is suffering from lung cancer since 5 years. Since 4 days she is unable to recognize any one and she got the same problem at the time she diagnosed with cancer but she became normal. Again after 5 years she got the same problem and doctor said there is problem in brain and condition will become more worst than this and there is no hope for the recovery. Can you please suggest

Hello. I have been through your question and understand your concern.

If this situation came suddenly or quite fast you should proceed with a brain CT scan at least, to rule out any stroke which can be one explanation.

Otherwise, if this condition was installed progressively it might be related to dementia, which is progressive.
