Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

I can understand your concern for the legs skin discoloration in yoru son.

After interpreting the query I can make out that you are quite stressed for the skin discoloration. It is too early to comment on the possibilities of the skin discoloration. In most of these kinds of cases it is due to post inflammatory hypo-pigmentation.

I suggest you to meet a doctor to get a clear diagnosis regarding the problem so that early therapy can be given. I reassure you that it doesn’t appear to be anything serious. Till the time you meet a doctor, a petroleum gelly can be applied over the area.

All the best.
