Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

Nprmally, cycle of periods can variate between 24-35 days.Anything beyond this occuring repeatedly every month means irregular periods.

Irregular periods may be due to stress, exertion, obesity.
It may also be due to underlying pathology like anaemia, polycystic ovary syndrome, thyroid disease.
Regularizing periods needs finding and then treating the underlying cause.
Certain investigations will be needed like blood haemogran, thyroid tests,USG abdo pelvis to know the cause.
If it is PCOD causing hormonal imbalance, oral contraceptive pills for 25 days every month are given for 3-6 months.
This all needs consultation with gynaecologist.

Besides, conservative measures like regular exercising for weight control, yoga meditation for destressing mind, healthy diet for well being will help in long run for normalizing periods.

Hope this information helps.
Any more query are welcome.
