General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Welcome
I have gone through your query. And do understand your concern.
She might be suffering from polycystic ovarian disorder. ( PCOD).
I would suggest you to go for ultrasound abdomen and pelvis.
We usually initiate with oral contraceptives pills for 3 to 4 month to regularise the period and if required we do put metformin. These both agents are prescription based medicines, so I would suggest you to see OBG specialist.
Apart from this it also important to reduce her weight, if she is obese, regular exercise will a good initiative.
Hope this helps
Take care
