How Can Infertility Be Treated?

hello doc , my daughter has pcod and her menstural cycles are very normal but since she has only one ovary with a normal uterus and a normal Fallopian tube and she is unde treatment he follicles which were very minmul initially now has increased in number but they are not rupturing as they are supposed to ,so is there any medicine for ovulation or the follicles to rupture?

Hi I think she can take some medicines like clomiphene for inducing ovulation. Track the follicles growth by repeated ultrasound and when follicle is more than 17 to 18 mm, she can take injection for rupture of follicles. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Generally this is done if one is trying to get pregnant. Otherwise ovulation medicines are not given for routine use. Hope it helps.
