How Can Indigestion And Abdominal Cramps Be Treated?

I ve had bad indigestion and a bloated cramped stomach. For the past two days. Antacids like Tums, Pepto and Tagamet don t appear to be helping. I ve passed three dark, odorless stools today (solid, no diarrhea). Should I make an apt. With my doctor tomorrow?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
thank you for your question.
I'd like to know if you've been eating outside.
if so, it's probably a bad case of food poisoning and indigestion.
I'd suggest antacid like Pantoprazole which might help with the indigestion.
Cramping can be relieved by Cyclopam.
Also, I'd strongly advise that you do consult your physician tomorrow. He'll be able to guide you on further treatment, whether you need antibiotics or tests.
