Observe and follow following points and tips,
1,Take low fat and low carbohydrate
2,Do not take any thing between your two principle meals,if you feel hungry then take green salads and lime water water.
3,Avoid junk food and fried food.
4,less quantity of rice and potatoes.
5,less use of ghee,butter,cheese.
6,regular exercise like walking,swimming,jogging and abdominal exercise
