How Can High Blood Pressure Be Treated?

I hae high blood pressure from severe anxiety and am used to taking valum but not for awhile now. I do not have a doctor and wanting to go to the er, but my last reading from a doctors office visit unrelated was I have white coat and was 150/135.. I asked my friend for one of his pills for hypertension Losartan potassium 50mg to take before going to the er even though I m not entirely convinced I have high blood pressure outside of my anxiety issue.

hi, thanks for posting, you should'nt take medicine without know if you really have high blood pressure, but you should'nt be without medicine if you really have high blood pressure, both conditions are dangerous, for diagnose hypertension, is necessary to have high blood pressure in some times in the day during at least two days of assessment. Losartan is from the group of angiotensin II receptor antagonist drugs, and together ACE-inhibitors are according studies, recommended to begin treatment of hypertension. A good acquisition are automatic devices for take bp or follow your bp periodically.
