How Can Hepatitis B Be Treated?

Hi my name is Tarekegn am 40 years old and living in Maryland Baltimore. Am epileptic seizures for the last 9 years and now before a couple of weeks i had blood work for hepatitis B and the result is -ve so my question is how could i get this virus and what is the cure ?

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern.

You said in your query that you are hepatitis B negative, that means you don't have any treatment needed for this.

There are. Many reasons to get hepatitis B like
Blood transfusion from an active hepatitis B patients.
Sexual intercourse with HEPATITIS B positive patients.
Contaminated needles and many other invasive procedures.

Today there are many drugs, effective for HBV like adinofovir, tinofovir, etc but you need to get fully evaluated before taking any medication.
And in acute phase no drug is needed only in chronic cases that is after the six months of exposure. Otherwise more than 85% gets cure of its own.
