How Can Growth And Development In A Child Be Tested?

My Son is born in critical birth condition by normal delivery. After the birth he is not crying and Dr immediate shifted him in child care intensive unit he has spent 10 days over there . After birth his weight was 3.5 kg .As Dr said his CRP test is positive so it may be there is some impact after 1 yr or in future related to mental growth as of now he has completed 9 month and developed like normal child kindly suggest me if I need to bother about him or is there any specific medical test require to test his normal growth
