How Can Gonorrhea Be Treated?

I have been diagnosed with gonorrhea. Got from my sexcapdes outside of marriage. I am taking antibiotics now and getting better. I haven t told my wife yet. But I think the symptoms are starting to appear on her. I just told her to have herself checked. Im really confused because if I tell her then she ll probably leave me. I think by the time she is diagnosed mine will be gone already. What do you think should I do? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for your question on HCM & I do understand your concern

If a person comes to me and diagnosed as gonorrhea, I would empirically treat him with [ceftriaxone-250 IM single injection] and [Azithromycin-1gm]. Since this is a prescription medication so you need to consult with your family doctor for a prescription.

So when she will show symptoms of gonorrhea do a clinical check up by your local doctor, and he will prescribe you medication but do not tell that she had this infection rather tell some bacterial infection.

Hope that helps
