Dear Sir/Madam,
Did you read all these on the internet? ok generally speaking we consider lymph nodes as enlarged when upper body lymph nodes are enlarged more than 1cm and lower body lymph nodes are enlarged more than 2cms. The common points when this lymphadenopathy has to be taken seriously
1. painful lymphadenopathy
2. Pus coming out of lymph nodes
3. Associated symptoms like fever, cough
4.weight loss
5.rubbery / matted lymph nodes.
6.Lymph nodes not settling after antibiotics
If you have any of the symptoms you need to be evaluated.
If you are worried too much you can get an FNAC of lymph node to ascertain the cause of lympahdenopathy.
Wishing you the best!
