I am a 43 year old female. I quit smoking about 3 years ago and I have put on weight. I now weigh 195 pounds. I do not exercise regularly but I am a store manager in grocery and I am on my feet 12-14 hours a day and always running around. I do not drink but it seems like no matter what I do I keep gaining weight... I am tired all the time and I want to loose weight?
Hello! Thank you for writing to us. Diet and exercise are the key to success. Try to alternate weight lifting with cardio. Don't worry lifting weights won't make look like a man, like mos women think. You don't have as much testosterone. You need to eat regularly in moderate amounts. Include more protein in your eating susch as fish, chicken, egg, white egg, cheese, cottage cheese, milk, yogurt, more fruits and vegetables and less carnbohydrates such as pasta, white bread and rice, cookies. Exercise. Do weight training because it build up muscle and the more muscle you have the more calorie you will burn. Best regards.
