Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have symptoms of earache and sore throat probably occurring due to viral infection and due to eustachian tube dysfunction.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination as infection has already spread to ear and in respiratory tract . Doctor may order throat swab test, complete blood profile and examine ear with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antiviral drugs (acyclovir) for a week along with decongestants and anti inflammatory. For now do warm saline gargles , take steam , take proper rest , keep yourself hydrated and apply dry hot compresses to ear.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
