How Can Dizziness, Cough And Swelling In The Ankles Be Treated?

My sister takes 8 medications - four of which she claims are for high blood pressure - another medication she takes which is part of the 8 different types is meclizine - because she has constant dizziness - - she says she has vertigo- we will be seeing a doctor in another week but I would like your opinion about current medications - she has been taking these medications for the past 3 years she says - she has a slight cough plus her ankles get slightly swollen and she can not walk very far because she gets dizzy and out of breath - what do you suggest she do ?? Do medications cause these symptoms - could it be COPD? She is 68 years of age - thank you for your input -
