Hello thanks for asking from HCM

You have chronic depressive symptoms and you have been on Fluoxetine, clonazepam, propranolol, escitalopram, fluvoxamine, zolpidem, lorazepam, doxepine etc medicines. You have also been suffering from OCD. OCD or obsessive compulsive disorder is a distressing anxiety disorder and in more than 50% of patients co-morbid depression is common. Depression get aggravated by OCD. Medicines used in OCD especially SSRIs are prescribed in high doses. You have taken fluoxetine, escitalopram which are good anti OCD drugs. Apart from medicines non-medicinal treatment like Behaviour Therapy is also very effective. Behaviour therapy includes relaxation exercises, progressive muscle relaxation exercises, breathing exercises etc. Commonly thought stopping, exposure and response prevention (ERP) are used in OCD.

Combination of behaviour therapy and medicines gives best results in OCD. Consult a psychologist for behavioural management.

Thanks, hope this helps you
