How Can Decreased Low Platelet Count Be Treated?

I have been having chemo Carboplatin and Taxol for 5 cycles so far. Can t do my next session due to blood platelets being too low . Is there a medication that can be taken to increase blood platelets?Right now they are making me wait until they come up.

although it seems like eternity,and only you now your true emotional and psychic state,it is better to just wait it out,and to let your bone marrow fight naturally. especially since ,usually,the therapy for thrombocytopenia includes taking corticosteroids,which is another drug/poison that is artificially choking your immune system ,and with risks of many side effects.......good luck!
