hi sir/madam,first thing i would like to tell you is that i have seen patients surviving with heart functioning less than 25%.most important thing is how properly the medication is given and how promptly you follow cardiologist advice.at our hospital,we would prescribe such patients, anti hypertensives especially ACE inhibitors, ionotropes like digoxin, diuretics like torsemide with spironolactone.so,what i mean to say is,with good treatment, not only prolonging the life span but the cardiac function can be improved a bit.regarding kidneys, disease can be assessed only with the knowledge of serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, level of proteinuria.so kindly furnish those details.a competent cardiologist consultation would certainly help him.hope i have clarified.any other issues, please dont hesitate to ask.take care.bye.
