How Can Congenital Cataracts With Convulsions Be Treated?

Hi, I am Atique form Bangladesh. I have a baby 11 months old. He got operation on both of his eyes for congenital cataract. He is now suffering from some other problem. When he was of 3 months, a convaltion occered in his body. He is now on treatment for this problem. But it seems to me that the condition of my baby is not improving. Till now the convaltion problem occered 14/15 times. I would like to take my dear baby to the institute for better tretment.

HI Atique, you mean to say convulsions or repeated seizures since new born period? refractory seizures with cataract could be a sign of infection when the baby was in utero, transmitted through mother. It is recommended to take your baby to a good hospital for the work up. good luck
