Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son has a problem of cough and cold during seasonal changes. He also has feaver. Last time he had severe leg pain and he could not walk, but gradually he recovered. This time again he has pain in legs cough and cold. He coughs and vomits whatever he eats. What should i do to improve immunity?
Understanding your concern. As per your query your child has symptoms of dry cough and cold which could be due to streptococcal infection leading to strep throat and recurrent infection is due to poor immunity of child. I would suggest you to take combination of antibiotics, along with antihistaminic medications. Give child steam inhalation. Nasal decongestants along with cough syrup will relieve symptoms. Visit pediatrician once if symptoms keeps on persisting and get it examined. Start treatment once proper diagnosis is confirmed. Keep sipping warm water as well.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
