How Can Chronic Emphysema Be Treated?
My husband has chronic emphysema and is on oxygen 24-7 He has a lung infection and his doctor put him on 875 mg of Augmentin 2 x a day 20 mg. of prednisone and put him on a new inhaler Bevespi He has taken the medication for a week now, and the head of his penis is swollen and sore. Could this be from the new medication he is on? He is not circumcised but has always been very clean and never had a problem like this. He is 75.

High dose of antibiotics leads to fungal infection due to loss of normal micro flora... please visit the physician for correct treatment
