How Can Chills And Sore Throat Be Treated?

Hi there. My 17 year old started feeling bad a few hours ago. She is now having some chills, but not a fever yet. Her throat is starting to feel sore. She took a couple of Tylenol, and I am thinking that she may have the flu. She says it feels the same as when she had strep last year. Can she get Tamiflu without a prescription, and is that where I should start? It ll be tomorrow before I can take her anywhere.

General Surgeon 's  Response
She could be having upper respiratory tract infection. Warm saline gargling, at least for 5 minutes three times a day, Tab Paracetamol 650 mg twice a day for fever, body ache and headache. Bed rest, plenty of oral fluids. Please consult an ENT surgeon who can examine your throat and advise necessary antibiotics.
