How Can Cellulitis Be Treated?

I have cellulitis from an abrasion and am on antibiotics, clindamycin. The affected area looks much better and is no longer painful, but there s still a pink zone. If that is not completely cleared up by the end of the antibiotic course, and should I see a doctor again?

Hello welcome to the health care magic

As per history you are probably having superficial skin bacterial infection

For that oral antibiotic course taken like cefixime or Amoxiclav

Topical antibiotic can be applied

If no improvement than Consult general surgeon for examination and further treatment accordingly

Take care

Hope this will help you
