How Can Bruising On The Face Be Treated?

My daughter was recently in a fight and ended up with two giant goose eggs over both eyes. Now the goose eggs went down and as predicted the blood is now running down her eyes and down her cheeks into bruises. Her face is very swollen and I know that ice and ibuprofen helps with that. She is leaving on a trip tomorrow and is very self-conscious about her face. Is there anything at all home remedy or something I can buy that can help speed up or reduce the amount of bruising that appears on her very swollen face? No how do I send done

Hi,
I would recommend to:
Not drink or eat warm food. Avoid heat and high temperatures. It can worsen the condition.
Keep your head a few inches above your body while sleeping using an extra pillow, and try to stay in a sitting position as much as possible. This will block the accumulation of blood in the swollen area.
Rest, and reduce as much as possible any activity involving facial muscles, like laughing, crying or chewing on hard food.
Continue using ice on and off, and ibuprofen 400mg no more than three times per day. Also give her the calculated number of pills to take during the trip, so she can keep on recovering during this time.
Bruises take their own time to heal, and the most we can do is to not prolong it, but speed the process by the above mentioned tips.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Wishing you good health.
