How Can Bleeding Gums Be Treated?

I have been having bleeding gums and it's almost as if on my bottom gum I have a cut and my gums are peeling. it's in an early stage and I think my bottom gums were neglected by my tooth brush. to me it is gingervitis- cause of the bleeding gums but the pain and the peeling is what I want to call it and sounds like gum disease. what can I do besides brushing more frequently and getting those neglected spots in my gums clean. any advice?? I saw my dentist a month and half ago and he mentioned a few missed spots during brushing and that my gums were red.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Yes, your symptoms are indicating towards gum Infection causing gum bleeding due to inflammation of the gums.

Improper brushing is one of the most common cause for bleeding gums..

So my suggestion is to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..

You can be advised deep Scaling followed by antibiotics like Metronidazole and gum paint massage..
Also chew a Vitamin C pellet daily..
Do warm saline gargles and antiseptic mouthwash gargles..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
