Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. It is true that hormone imbalances are created while on hormone contraception. The associated weight gain makes things worse. Since you have been trying for two years without success, it is time to get further investigations. Please get a trans-vaginal sonogram, complete hormone profile and tubal patency test apart from establishment of regular ovulation. Male factor also needs to be tested. If everything is fine, monitored induction along with IUI may be tried. Please maintain a healthy weight, regular exercise and a healthy diet. Take care.
