How Can An Old Scrotum Injury With Swelling And Inflammation Be Treated?

I believe it is a busted blood vessel. I got hit in my ball sack when I was 12 or 13. On the right side of my sack but inside. I can feel the vain that runs through and when it bends around, the bend part is swollen like and inflamed. It use to hurt at times after it happened or if I moved a certain way, I could feel it like pressing on a nerve or something. I am now 28 now and it is the same size as it was when I discovered it some 15 years ago and it almost never hurts anymore. I figured when the ball hit me, it ruptured a blood vessel and made a part of the vain bigger/swollen like.

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read facts of your query and reviewed it in context to your health issues submitted in your query.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query the reply of your query is-
Your current health issues seem to be due-Post-traumatic Clot with fibrosis and inflammed tissue.
This also could be due to the Vas deferrence with testicular vessels and nerves in the spermatic cord, which might have resolved and has come to normal by now in last 15 years, and is due to pressing the normal vas deference with nerves and vessels.
Thus the possibility what you think, is not there as the clot at that time has got resolved over last 15 yrs, which is a big time to recover from such a traumatic swelling effect.
Or it Could be from epididymitis/ Varicocele- post- traumatic.

Hence Other causes-as cited above- need to be ruled out,by verification with Physician/and or Surgeon.

Do's-
Consult with Urologist and Surgeon who would investigate physically and by USG with Colour Doppler study if needed.
This would fix the cause amongst the above or other possibilities.
You need to treat it with Surgeon/ Urologist which should be done on priority and urgently to avoid further complications.

This would resolve the complaints of your's.

Constant followup with local family or specialist Urologist / Surgeon-for long term would give you long remissions in time to come, which would depend on meticulous followup treatment of your health concerns.

Just don't worry and be patient and co-operate with your doctors, till you verify with your attending doctors.
For early recovery-please follow above do's which would resolve your complex health issues.

Hope this would help you to treat your health issues in the best way possible.
