How Can Acid Reflux In An Infant Be Treated?

Hey moms !! Its my first timee on this so I m not sure I m doing this right , so anyways my question is i have a 2 month old baby (shes my first) she really has trouble with reflux so my ppd told me to add rice cereal in her bottle, the thing is it isn t helping at all , I told her doctor this but she doesn t seem to give me another solution so I ve been reading online and everyone says oatmeal cereal is better , should I try with organic oatmeal or keep trying with the rice cereal... ?

Hi ...Can understand your concern..As per your query about acid reflux in 2 month old baby is very common complain in infants upto 3-4 months..Lack of proper burping can be a possible reason and avoid top up feeds like rice and oat meal upto 6 months..Mothers milk is best balanced food formulae upto 6 months for his total grown and development including brain and immune system..The symptoms will slowly subside and disappear in few months..You can give him colic aid which is simethicone by consulting your pediatrician ..It is very helpful at this infancy age when they cry...I hope the information helps you...Take care..
