How Can A Pregnancy Be Aborted?

Sir my wife has missed her periods on 25 sept 2014 , last night I asked her to do pregnancy test by help of preganews kit, and that is showing positive. And it may be right as well since we had unprotected sex on 16th sept. So kindly suggest me some smooth medicinal way to avoid her pregnancy. As we are not planning to be parents so early.

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. In the current scenario, you should see a specialist for a clinical confirmation of the pregnancy, then get a trans-vaginal sonogram to locate the gestation sac and know the age of the pregnancy. After preliminary investigations like routine blood counts and urinalysis, you can get an induced medical abortion done under surveillance. The whole process takes 2-3 days. Follow up is done with a clinical exam and a sonogram to ensure completion of the process. After this process, please go for regular contraception until you wish to be parents. Hope this helps.
