How Can A Painful Hemorrhoid Be Treated?

Hi my husband got a hemorrhoid that hurt really bad so he squeezed it until he felt a pop, aperantly it pop internally and now it's really swollen and looks almost like a huge blood sack and he's in a bit of pain, But it is not bleeding externally. Any suggestions on what we should do as he has to go to work tomorrow?

Surgical removal of hemorrhoids is the treatment of choice for permanent cure.
So better to consult surgeon and get done clinical examination of hemorrhoids.
For acute pain relief, you can take painkiller like ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
Warm water bath is also good for pain relief.
