Hi Resmi Nair,

Welcome to HCM.

It is good to know that your baby is fine. Your weight will increase only in second trimester as you have nausea and vomiting in the first you normally dont put on weight. You can have sodium in your diet, by adding pickles greenleafy vegetables. If you are a non vege then you can take salted fish in moderate quantity. Have a healthy and balanced meal. You need to also have a exercise regimen daily for good health. You can go for a regular walk for 30 min and consult your obstetrician to know more on exercises.

Have a good health.
