How Can I Confirm Presence Of Lice In The Hair ?

I nanny for a a two year old girl and on Friday I found some bugs in her hair I told her parents and we took her to a hair dresser and the lady said she couldnt have lice because there were no nits. I found two more bugs today. Is this lice?

hello anonymous,
usually it looks like head louse. it usually indicates poor hygiene in children.
i advise you to take her to a pediatrician who will prescribe a anti louse shampoo. you will also have to make sure you change her bedspread and pillow covers and wash them with hot water and dry under the sun to kill the louse in clothes. also wash her clothes in hot water. make sure if she has friends of her age with whom she plays with dont have the same problem and report it to their parents about it.

dont worry the problem can be solved with anti louse shampoo. please consult your pediatrician an follow the prescription
