How can I come off elleste duet 2 mg after having them for last 5 years ?

I want to come off elleste duet 2 mg after being on them for 5 years .how do i do it my gp seemed vague. She suggested taking the orange tablets every other day then every 2 days and stopping over about 3 weeks .?

You have to withdraw the medicine in a gradual manner as it can result in rebound of your symptoms.
You can switch to elleste 1 mg initially and take this in a normal regular fashion for 3 months
After three months,you can start using the medicines for 6 days a week for few weeks,then for five days a week and so on.
This way you may be able to come off your medicine without getting rebound symptoms.
