How Can Cocaine Addiction Affect Heart Condition Following A Quadruple Bypass?

I have a friend that had a quadruple bypass in 2009. He's a crack cocaine user. Practically every pay period. (two weeks) he goes on a binge. He had as recent as 11/29/11 an angioplasty, the procedure entailed a stent placed in one artery and a balloon in the other artery. The other two arteries are damaged beyond repair, so he was told. He is presently on aspirin to prevent clotting in relation to the stent. Unfortunately, he's getting high as we speak, what can I expect to happen as the results of his addictive behavior?

To put it simply, you can expect your friend to die. Persistent use of cocaine will put a stress on his heat that it cannot tolerate. As his heart beats faster and faster, his heart muscle will start to fail. This will lead to heart failure and probable death.

I advise you to tell him to stop and get him the help he needs.
