Hole On Tonsils That Traps Food Particles Causing Irritation, Advised Tonsils Removal. Will It Affect Impregnation?

hi doctor...i have a small hole on my tonsils.. and this traps food particles and cause some iritation. I consulted an ENT doc..he suggest me to remove my tonsils.I am 29years old this year and not married. there are some comments from people that removing tonsils can affect in baby production . is that true? pls advise me on the side effect on this operation.Tq

Tonsils are a part of lymphoid system which help in building a immune response for infection. Some times they get inflamed and cause problems. They have nothing to do with sexual function. You have absolutely wil have no problem. People who say that have no knowledge about human anatomy.
About operation,it does not have severe side effects and it is safe operation if done in good hands. So you can go ahead and plan for surgery.
