Hit On Calf Muscles, Swollen, Painful While Standing

Hit by a baseball bat in the calf and now it s swollen. I can hardly put any weight on my left leg now. Any advice on what I should do, and what could be causing the pain , or if anything is broken or popped? When I sit without movement the pain is much lower but still hurts, like a 4 of 10. With weight on my left leg the pain is an 8 or 9. Please let me know, thank you.

you need to get an xray of your lower limb focussing on your tibia and fibula. If either bone is fractured you might need to immobilise your affected limb in a cast for around 6 weeks.if not just pain killers and antioedema measures will suffice. You have to do all this after consulting an orthopaedician
