Hit Forehead Near The Hair Line Quite Hard, Scalp Has Become Numb, Feels Itchy. Should I Worry ?

I hit my forehead near the hair line quite hard on a wall a day and a half ago and since then from the point of impact back over the scalp has gone numb. I also have a black eye and a decent lump. It also feels itchy at times but there is no relief when I scratch it because of the numbness. Is this something that I should worry about? And will the numbness go away?

dear misslorenjones

you might need to get a CT scan done at the earliest and if possible please urgently consult a neurosurgeon. we have to rule out the possibility of any underlying damage as you are giving a history of trauma on the forehead a day back

hope it helps

regards
dr amit
