Hit Ear In An Accident, Earlobe And Eye Was Swollen, Pain In Right Side Of Head, Lumps

I hit the right side of my ear about two months ago in a go-kart accident, I went to the doctor, after I realized that my eye was swollen also the side of my earlobe. The doctor told me I would be ok, I don't need an x-ray, all I need is some ice and pain killers For about three weeks now, I've been experiencing on and off pain in the right side of my head, ear and eye; especially when I chew or swallow. I also noticed small lumps in the side of me ear as if it was bruised.

Hello
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. By your history I think there might be some injury to your tm joint also and even severe ear pain also have pain while chewing. I suggest to have an x-ray done. There must be infection in the ear leading to lymphnode enlargement and for that you need to take antibiotic treatment prescribed by your doctor if you were my patient I will suggest amoxicillin for this. As this is a prescription drug you need to consult your doctor for this. Thank you.
