History Of Hysterectomy. Have Pelvic Pain, Diarrhea. Can Endometriosis Spread Outside Organs?
hi my name if nora and i have had pelvic pain for the past 5 yrs. i had a partial hysteromcy about 15 yrs ago. also had to remove my gall bladder and was diagnosed with stomach issues and have had several colon test and camera inserted and botox injections in my stomach for the constant diarreha. finally after seeing my gastro dr he could no longer help me so i went back to my ob dr and they finally decided to remove my tubes and ovaries 6 wks now. the pelvic pain is still there but my diarreha is not as bad but still there. i also last year had a gluteal musclar mass removed which has been there for 5 yrs started out as a cyst and grew to a mass with numerous ct scans and mri's no one ever told me i had it. so my question is can i the endometrisois spread outside my organs cause i had it again this time they removed my tubes and ovaries as too i had it when they removed my utueres
Yes, You are true. Endometriosis can spread from uterus, tubes and ovary to other organs in pelvis as well as outside of pelvis like lung or liver. Even it may spread to arms and thighs.
Thus this can cause symptoms depends upon the organs. It may cause pain and bleeding in many organs.
if the any symptom or change that occur coincides with menstruation, Endometrial spread can be suspected.
Hope this helps. Take care. If any doubt, Kindly reply.
